The Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism from La Salle University - FADU, as part of Red internacional de redes sobre Soluciones Basadas en la Naturaleza para la Resiliencia Urbana en el Antropoceno – NATURA (International network of networks on Nature-based solutions for Urban Resilience in the Anthropocene), have been working since 2020 with local and international actors to co-produce knowledge, models, and tools to enhance resilience of New World cities to future extreme weather events and encourage innovative strategies towards urban sustainability.

In this context, the professor Carlos Fernando Agudelo, Director of the Master's Degree in Land Planning and Management from La Salle University, in collaboration with Duvan Hernán López, NATURA participant, President of the Recycle the City Network (RECNET) and La Salle professor; and the Territory and Landscape Laboratory professors of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, have been made contributions to NATURA’s Latin American node and its Urban Informality thematic working group, with the purpose of sharing ideas for resilience implementation in Bogotá, Colombia. This node brings together research networks and projects across México, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.
