Perfil del estudiante:
- Estudiante con B2-C1 en inglés
- Edad de 17 a 25 años, con habilidades de comunicación, pensamiento crítico, capacidad de reflexión ya que interactúan con alumnos de diferentes partes del mundo vía zoom.
- Todos los estudiantes deben cumplir con los requisitos del Acuerdo 014 de 2019.
Program Info:
To give a brief recap of the program: We have created a no-cost, ten-week virtual certificate program to connect American students with students from around the world using Zoom software. The new virtual program was launched in the summer of 2020 in response to COVID-19 global pandemic and its impact on student engagement through Study Abroad opportunities. The goal of the program is three-fold: increase cross-cultural competency among participants, enhance their global awareness and promote personal, professional and institutional relationships. Students participating in this program will learn about the 2030 UN Sustainable Development goals and participate in conversation with peers around the world through deliberation. The program uses the Deliberative Dialogues, a national format for conversation promoted by the National Issues Forum Institute, USA. Students will have opportunities to read, research and engage in structured conversation on the 2030 UN Sustainable goals. (*this program does not provide academic credit)

Cantidad de encuentros: 1 encuentro por semana durante 10 semanas, se seleccionan entre 4 días con opciones de horarios:
Mondays 1:00pm-2:30pm
Tuesdays 7:30pm-9:00pm
Thursdays 10:00am-11:30am
Fridays 9:00am-10:30am
